NFL Films analyst Greg Cosell raised a few eyebrows last month when he opined on NFL Network's "Path to the Draft" that Syracuse's Ryan Nassib is the top quarterback in this draft class based on film study.

This, but if it doesn't pan out (and I don't think it will), shits going to come back in a tidal wave on Marrone.

This is predictable. Barkley, Geno and Nassib will go high because those first round teams who need a QB will panic.

I couldn't pick which smart arse comment to make, so I'm gonna make 'em both.

1) What bad QB decision hasn't come back on the head coach?

2) I think the Bills at this point are used to bad QB decisions.

Well no shite all bad decisions come back on a coach to one degree or another, but using your first draft pick as a HC (and a top 10 pick at that) to take the QB you coached the last 3 years in college, a QB that most consider worthy of a 2nd-3rd round pick at best, leaves you absolutely zero fricking wiggle room if he doesn't come in and play like a damn boss from day 1.

And to point #2......well yeah, there's that.

yeah probably so. People talk over and over how bad this QB class is (and it is) but its not like we've seen guys get picked high before that weren't anything special.

Mark Sanchez was a Top 5 pick.
Blaine Gabbert- #10 overall
Christian Ponder- #12 overall

that's a heck of a gamble, if they truly feel he's can be a solid NFL starter.

Who is the Bills QB now anyway?... Fitzpatrick is no longer with the team.

Yup

He's not the answer though

Need a franchise QB

Nassib is a franchise killer. Not the same
