is Star big enough to play NT in the NFL? I'd assume we'd use him as a 3-4 end like Ngata.

He's been projected to play both, like Ngata, because of his strength.

Utah plays him at both nose tackle and defensive end, asking him to two-gap often. He will be coveted in both of those roles by NFL teams who run 3-4 defenses, although his combination of size, strength, and quickness make him a fit in almost any type of defensive system.

The athletic Lotulelei can do just about anything at the next level. In a 4-3, he could play nose tackle or be a three-technique. For a 3-4 defense, Lotulelei could play defensive end or nose tackle. Given his versatility, it is difficult to say which position would be his best because he could excel at all of them.

Strong, heavy hands to control his opponent and possesses the upper and core strength to simply rag-doll offensive linemen. Possesses a thick, classic Polynesian build well suited to anchoring against the run, making him a natural candidate to play inside at nose guard or defensive tackle, as well as a five-technique defensive end.
