Doing the presser with Johnny instead of his family makes me think he's staying.

Anyone else feel this way?

The fact that he's holding a presser with Johnny seems positive. If he was leaving for the draft, I doubt he would still be on campus.

No this isn't national signing day. Why would his family need to be involved?

I believe that he is gone...and the reason will involve money for his family. If it goes down this way, can't fault the kid at all. I hope I am wrong.

I'm much less optimistic...but would be ecstatic if I were wrong.

Chad Ford ranks him as the 177th prospect Does he have a family crisis or something where he needs the money bad?

this was my question.....i started a thread on it and people acted like i was an idiot, but it's a very valid question

when was the last time an LSU athlete called a press conference and stayed? I'm sure its happening recently but my selective memory isnt allowing me to recall. Maybe when like they called a presser for 5 football players and 1 said he was coming back.

he wont make money if hes not drafted...if he needs money, he will be taken care of.

You don't think announcing early to the NBA is a pretty big life decision?

I know. I'm thinking he may declare but not sign an agent to have the opportunity to come back.

O'Bryant just tweeted "Shout out to the nonbelievers"

Doesn't make me feel better.
