Pujols and Votto each have one less walk (8) than the entire Astros roster (9)

Tune in next week.

The astros have all of the fundamental aspects covered:

--Pitch selection and taking walks (abysmal)
--avoiding strikeouts (abysmal)
--hitting (abysmal)
---hitting with power (abysmal)
--hitting without power (abysmal)
--speed (non-existent)
---Hope (none to speak of)

I took my son to the game this week. $6($5 for me $1 for my son) I was sitting in the shade on the first base line. Can't beat the price and had a great time. Of course I'm a Braves fan so I didn't really care who won or lost. I plan on going many more times in the season as long as it's cheap and I can sit anywhere I want again.

Their best player is Jose Altuve.

That's really all that needs to be said.

If Crane were smart he would lower ticket prices all around for at least this year to get people in the seats. Otherwise that place will be empty soon enough.

there need to be less Astros threads period.

Prom,

you've started at least 4 in the last 2 weeks. now everyone is piling on how bad they are. get over it and start less DAT threads.

DAT threads aren't necessary. they take up board space. no one cares about the Astros.

I honestly don't even know what I paid for. I just told the ticket counter to give me the cheapest tickets you have available for me and my son. She said $6. I wasn't asked once to show my ticket after entering the gate. I hung out around the dugout before the game kicked off and then down the 1st base line.

it's true. they might get 10 posts in them. and majority are making fun of the astros.

So, you can't start a thread with information on the upcoming game and what's going on with the franchise?

When have I said they weren't going to be terrible? Losing 94-96 is terrible, nonetheless.

There are more Astros fans on this board than just about anyone else. Don't act.
