Moore is batting .289 with 45 AB. Foster is at .333 with only 18. I'd be fine splitting these two. Chinea is down to .212 with 33 AB. I'd say he has been given a fair chance an isn't ready yet.

It scares me to think about post season games when you get to pinch hit/run situations because we don't have anyone who can step up in that role.

In terms of a capable pinch hitter, I would be ok with Moore, Sciambra, Edward, Foster, Yocom, Stevenson.

Sure, they haven't been consistent enough to earn a spot, but they are capable to come through in a pinch hit situation.

I wouldn't be worried about that. We have plenty of speed on the bench, and no team has a .350 hitter coming off the bench, because if they did he wouldn't be coming off the bench. We have guys that a more than capable, and we have both lefties and righties depending on the matchup. I like the way this team is put together. I do agree that we need to find a DH and stick with him. While the bats are hot, someone needs to get into a groove and get some ABs.
