They gotta have wallows. If, there's not much water on your property that can help localize them, but they are VERY mobile.
Best chance is over bait at night. I been f$%king up with my thermal imaging scope. Can spot them from waaaaaaay off even bedded down.

Correct on all accounts. Wish I had thermal vision. Instead I get a 3rd kiddo (3rd boy and 3rd future hunter)
I will also vote for night vision scopes on top of ARs as a quality pig eradicating setup. Only been able to whack a couple of nutria with mine, but I'm hoping the success rate extends to a few hogs this summer
