Dry rub for smoked turkey

Gonna smoke a bird tomorrow and need a good dry rub for it. Turkey is 13 pounds and will be smoked with a mix of apple and cherry wood fwiw. TIA

I like to rub them with EVOO, and then give them a liberal sprinkle of Tony's, Cavender's and paprika. Turns out well.

Thanks, I can't get Cavenders in Lake Charles though. At least I've never seen it here

I dry rub my bird with to equal parts of Tony and chili powder then throw on there some Thyme and Paprika ... I also melt some butter and mix with sugar and chili powder and brush on the bird man times though out cooking.

Use lemon pepper in place of the Cavender's if you can't get it.

do a youtube search for franklin bbq, he shows how he smokes a turkey
