re: Should Tinseltown be demolished?
too bad porn is so ubiquitous on the web

multiscreen porn theatre would be a neat new concept, could have PeeWee Herman cut the ribbon for old times' sake

And you'd put it at Siegen and the Interstate?

No, I would put it in Covington right north of I-12

Same thoughts on DEVIN. Cherry picker or paint roller with giant extension.

Called rope and a quick 8 from off the roof. Repel down and lock in.

re: Should Tinseltown be demolished?
I've got a ton of pics to post but I don't want to post them until I know work is cool with it. I'll come back and do that when I can.

To give you an idea though, there is no copper, no plumbing, no screens, no furniture. The ceiling grid has been pulled down and mangled everywhere so everything above it such as ductwork and lighting is just hanging. The ceiling tile is all on the ground and since vandals got to the roof and ripped open every single air handler leaving penetrations in the roof, as well as ripping open the sprinkler system, the tile is saturated and mush under your feet. Mold everywhere. Spray paint everywhere. Every piece of glass is broken. Oh and there's old fireworks all over the place. Can't believe it didn't burn down. Also if you go after a rain its really creepy and its dripping in a bunch of places. The first time we went we saw a live cat, the second time we saw a dead cat. No shite. Imagine zombie apocalypse looking type stuff.

Saying that, I would highly advise anyone to not go in there to see for themselves. Not only is there the mold, broken glass, and other general unsafe conditions, but there is also evidence of squatters living in there. Could be very dangerous if you stumble upon someone in the dark. It's also illegal and I assure you now people are watching to see who goes in and out.

re: Should Tinseltown be demolished?
Looks like it was sprayed with something, not spray paint, but some sort of waterhose/pressure washer type thing.

I haven't tagged many theaters, but it seems like a lot of drips for a roller and I thought about repelling, but that shite would be hard to make a V repelling.

Yes, I think a lot of Los Angeles should be demolished, and starting with The Hollywood Elitists would be a good start.
