What's up with the plethora of car flipping shows?

All of a sudden there are 4-5 running at the same time.
My favorite of the group is Fast and Loud.
I'm anxious to see the rebuild of the nearly destroyed F-40 Ferrari. The car was supposedly a one-owner car who had it regularly serviced. One over-zealous tech later, the car was fricked up after hitting a wall.
In the show, they paid $400K for the remains so they could rebuild it. It's supposedly a million dollar car when it's all said and done.
ETA: Here is a link to an F-40 listed for $750K

I don't fully remember what the car looked like but I remembered being surprised that Richard paid what he did for it when it seems the frame could have some serious damage. He must have some serious faith in his head mechanic Aaron.

Thats how reality shows work nowadays.
If one is mildly successful, 50 versions pop up in a week
