Looking to find one in the CBD/quarter area to replace my long dead old favorite, Marquise de Sade. I've heard good things about Croissant d'Or and better things about Maple St., but not sure if it's worth the haul early in the morning. Local preferences? Any other ones I'm missing? Looking more for breads and croissants than other stuff. Thanks.

Maple St. is very good, probably the best retail baker in the city. Closer to CBD try Gracious Bakery on S. Jeff Davis. I like their baguettes.

Cool, thanks. May have to run up and try it out.
