Does anyone have any info on the construction going on in the Old Front 9?

I know this is likely a longshot but figured i'd ask anyway. Specifically what exactly they're doing (seemed like they were doing some sort of drainage project) and if it will be finished by football season.

The city is using that area as a staging area for its sewer upgrade project.

Sewer force main project. Crews are working around to the clock to clear the LSU area (supposedly)

Well technically it will be finished "on time.". It's just that the timetable itself has been pushed back...slightly...

I realize you didnt join until Nov of 2009 so you probably dont know who was all was involved in the orgin of that joke. Sorry.

I heard from one of the managers they're shutting down the plant on Nicholson and the new pipping is for the gardere one.
He said it'll be finished by football season for sure
