RS not throwing a pass ONCE in his entire career is a good one. Mine has to be Miles not playing JL in BCS championship game. That was a mystery that will never be solved. You certainly can't explain it. I guess even coaches get that "deer in the headlights" look from time-to-time. Miles just couldn't pull the trigger and the rest is history/infamy.

I won't say I didn't wonder why JL didn't see the field in that, but I also believe another #9 that plays QB in that stadium would of helped with the way our o-line played. We simply just got our butt's whopped that game. Let's just beat Bama this year and play in Atlanta.

The team was rolling along and was 8-0 with Lee as the starting QB, then Les interceded and inserted Jswag for some unknown reason. This destroyed the chemistry and the offense was never the same the rest of the year, culminating in the NC abomination.

There are a few "rumors" that explain it pretty well.

I understood that part and also benching him against Bama on the 11/5/11 game. He didn't want to throw in the towel and just give up in those games. But why didn't he work JL in more after the 11/5 game. Let him try to clear his head a little and work his way out of that 'deer in the headlights' syndrome. That will always be a Les Miles mystery to me.
