Mine has to be the fact that Russell Shepard never took a snap at QB or threw a pass for that matter.

I better not hear anyone say he couldn't throw. Evidence at the 2.20 mark of that vid & beyond.

Is why so many LSU fans hate him an option?
He certainly isn't perfect, but he has won 80% of his games, in the toughest period of SEC football.

RS not throwing a pass ONCE in his entire career is a good one. Mine has to be Miles not playing JL in BCS championship game. That was a mystery that will never be solved. You certainly can't explain it. I guess even coaches get that "deer in the headlights" look from time-to-time. Miles just couldn't pull the trigger and the rest is history/infamy.

why the fans hate on him so much. he has done NOTHING but give LSU success and he has been an incredible ambassador for the school. he is getting more players through school and they are getting their degrees. I think we rank 2nd in the SEC behind Vanderbilt... that's saying something isn't it?... and also, his players love the man like their own fathers!

our graduation rate hasn't been hire with any other coach and as previously stated he's won 80% + of his games in the closest thing to the NFL in college football.

Les Miles ... FTW!!
who else would you rather coach!? that is the real damn question. WHO THE FRICK do you get to replace him?!..

How this man continues to recruit so well, yet he doesn't seem to be able to communicate that well. He seems goofy, hard headed and stubborn but I have a want for this man to be our coach.

2011. One of the most impressive runs in college football history. A dominating defense, very efficient offense, and special teams that scored points and pinned offenses back.

Why on earth do you switch starting QBs midway through the season?

Ultimately, I really think that's what led to what happened in the BCSNC.
