Think this thing is any good?
I like the thought of having a generator. Just not sure if I would trust it enough to spend $3000 on it.

So you have a generator running to push an electric motor? Seems counter-intuitive to me

Why?
You get a generator, lawn mower, and ATV all in one.

They have one at the Gonzales Lowes. It was very tempting to pull the trigger. Seems like the perfect tool for me. Great for working 2-3 acres.

I think it has a battery bank, which is another thing to go wrong. Generator charges the batteries.
John Deere has some golf course equipment with the same concept. Cuts out hydraulic fluid and hoses which bust and kill grass on greens.

saw one of these the other day, it looked way too gimicky. how much are those batteries going to set you back when you have to replace them? 1500-2k?

they've all been recalled and Lowes is supposed to not be selling them anymore

I was cutting greens at 5 am before a tournament one morning and the hose for the reel that rides under the seat busted. Didn't notice until I had to empty the buckets after cutting the green. There was a nice little sheen on the green when I went back to check it out.

That's a plus then. I think the concept is good, just don't think this machine is the one to get.
I saw the one at Lowes yesterday.

I've left many stipes on greens and fairways

Hell no. Want no part of reel mowers.

If I had a camp, I'd be all over that.

I wanted this to be real so bad.
