Need a new grill. Any good ones in the $300-$400 range?

My Weber is getting old, and the replacement parts would end up being close to $200. Went to lowes today and found out grills have gotten freaking outrageous.

Get a Weber Performer for $350. It is a charcoal grill that has a cart, automatic gas assist to light the charcoal and a lot of other accessories. Will last you 20 years.

I have this, and can also vouch for it. Glad I got it.

spend the money and get a green egg. best grill you'll ever have and will last forever

How long did your Weber last? 300-400 isnt going to buy anything that will likely last as long (gas grills). Best bet would be to get a Weber kettle style grill.

You definitely get what you pay for when it comes to grills. Buy a cheap one, and you'll replace it every 2-3 years.

If it has to be a gas grill spend the money and get a Genesis. If it doesnt have to be a gas grill then the Performer mentioned would be your best bet in that price range.

It has a total cooking area of 363 square inches according to that link. That is pretty small.

I have the Weber Silver. I've had it about 5 years. The burners, ignitor, grill plates, and flavorizer bars all need to replaced.
Also the paint inside the lid is peeling off really bad. I scraped off all the loose paint.
I left it on the deck unprotected a good bit. Sure that helped it age a good bit. The outside of the grill is in great shape.

Silver B?

Thats the equivalent of the new 310 Spirit line.
Unfortunately not Webers best line of products. Its better to spring and pay for the new Genesis line than go with the Spirit. If your price range is hard then I recommend the coal grills like the performer.
If you had to spend that money on a gas grill you will find yourself replacing it again in 3 years. 5 Years is pretty good for a gas grill in that price range actually. I think the Silver B was at least made in the USA while Spirit is Chinese now.

Char-Grill Akorn. Just like BGE but third of the cost and more mobile.

Up your price and get a Genesis. I have had mine for 12 years. The only things I have replaced are the flavorizer bars, the thermometer, and the propane regulator. Still works like a champ.

You won't get much real gold for that price. Won't even cover one tooth.

I'm thinking about getting a Weber Q320..It's around $400 without the tank and it has gotten good reviews. The cooking area is decent size too. With proper care it should last at least 4 to 6 years, and I'd be cool with that.

Add another vote for the Weber Performer . I've had mine for 3 years and love it. Look into the Smoke-a-nator attachment (not made by Weber) and you can smoke nothing on a Weber kettle grill with no problems. I'd link it but I'm on my phone.
