How much white? If it's mostly the underparts that are white, it may be a northern harrier, aka "marsh hawk". You'll see them flying low to the ground and slow over fields looking for rodents.



Although, I'd think most of them might have migrated north by now. I was seeing them 3 weeks ago in N. AL, however.

Saw one not long ago, but yeah, they may be gone by now.

Saw something like that this year over a cutover. Especially noticed how low and slow it was flying.
