He was released a bugged mess.
After a bunch of fixes he became playable
Eventually people figured out he has godlike lategame. Bjerg and faker showed his power.
So they nerfed him and he became terrible .
They rebuffed him tho and now he's good again.
he is very fun but you need items and play for the late game. His laning is ok if you can manage your soldiers well. Use them to last hit and zone off the enemy.
The kit is the same , riot just fricks with azirs Q range a lot.
W raises a soldier
Q makes all soldiers move to that point
E makes Azir move to a soldier
R is his wall.
He also can raise a turret. Strong champion
