Surprisingly, Top has been having the most impact on a lot of the games.
Teleport at the right time, or win your lane matchup.... and you can create a huge advantage by zoning the other team's carries (or straight carrying yourself with jax/irelia/gnar).

Mid and jungle have recently had a lot of map pressure and impact, but the gold reduction in the dragon changes have reduced the importance of this synergy getting kills. Early dragons end up being an even trade for top/mid towers. Mids are still important, but I've seen more junglers camp top now than mid.

ADC's like Corki, Lucian, Sivir, Caitlyn are back in vogue b/c the mid game power spikes to contest the baron/dragon are more important. Those fights end up deciding the game. But now that most tops carry Teleport, bot lanes can't be super aggressive and push up the lane without fearing getting top/jungle ganked. So, they play more passive and just farm.

The games are often so close in gold now, that the mid game team fight is dominated by the strongest top laner.

Who would have thought that?
