You can make an argument that JaMarcus was better than Flynn in the years he was at LSU, and that Flynn got better after JaMarcus left.
You can make an argument that JaMarcus reached a level by the end of his career at LSU that Flynn could never touch.
You can make an argument that JaMarcus would have had an even better senior year than Flynn had he stayed at LSU.
What you cannot do with any kind of modicum of consistency at all, is say that an average LSU start by JaMarcus was more productive offensively than an average LSU start by Flynn. It's just obviously not true, and no argument you can make based on how awesome you think JaMarcus was, or how high he went in the draft, or how many posters you had of him on your wall, or how talented certain selected plays of his were, make any difference at all.
On average, Flynn's produced more than JaMarcus at the QB position at LSU. This really shouldn't be controversial at all.

Flynn played on a better team for sure. I'll take JR any day over him though. Which is way it took JR leaving before Flynn gotto play.

Both were damn good QBs at LSU, I'm mainly arguing against the people that seem to think:
1) you have to choose one or the other
2) JR wasn't any good during his time year.
I've just never understood the venom people spew at Russell.
