Proof I have horrible taste in music. Worse yet, I got into them because of my fandom of Audioslave. I prostrate my self in front of the MB. I await my punishment.

I started sampling their work last Fall, when I learned Paul Ryan is a fan. If the vice presidential candidate can look past their politics, so can I.

I have to get my Rage fix every now and again. Only thing is, it has to be at the right time due to the fact that I get a little emotional while listening.

i discovered them in 92 as a young man and now realize how terrible their music really is as an adult. Step away now and go discover the replacements, television or something decent.

that said, i saw Rage play to 8 people at Tips on a snowy night in 92 with no power. It was kind of a cool tribal feeling raw acoustic performance

At least twice now that you've shown us just how grown up you are. Good on ya.

I liked Audioslave, too, brother. In fact, I listened to them to see what the guys would sound like with a "singer". Over the past 20 years or so, the best rhythm section of a popular band, with the possible exceptions of Tool and Soundgarden. I listen to RATM for the bass and drums.

Not to be a dick, but did you really need that validation?

They were amazing at Voodoo a few years ago. Best group I've ever seen live, hands down!

The first RATM album still sounds like it could have been released yesterday. I just can't get into new hard rock bands.
