Thats a cool comparison chart. Thanks!

ETA: Nearly double the weight is a deal breaker. I plan of carrying a lot in gym shorts and 17 ounces will pull them down

How hard would it be to find a CW380 right now? Where would be the best place to start online?

Haven't started my search yet. I plan on looking online though. I have a $10 FFL guy so I could save a bit with no tax

I found a p380 for $500 like new condition but would rather find a CW for $300 or so.

I've got 4 of the Kahr p380's. Great guns. Reliable and accurate for a gun that size. Small and light. I wear scrubs mostly and I carry mine clipped inside my waistband. My wife does as well. I've got one of the 9's, but I carry it on my ankle.

That would be a VERY nice price for the CW380, but I doubt it'll come in that low, especially given the current climate. After it's been on the market a while, I bet it ends up closer to the CW9 and CW45. I bought my CW45 for $325 Feb 12. Best price I've seen lately was 380.

I may be wrong but I thought I seent a sig 238 at academy for 499. Good deal and gives you a better trigger if that's important to you.

Yeah I guess it is quite a bit bigger. But it plenty small enough to carry in a pocket.

Watch my latest video on concealed carry methods. My response to you are the same two quotes from my video:

"A single stack, subcompact 9mm can be carried in SOME pockets whereas a single stack subcompact 380 can be carried in ALL pockets."

"17 rounds at home is worthless compared to 8 rounds on you."

So to sum it up, the 380 has more versatility regardless of the fact that it may lack firepower. Remember, this is a concealed carry gun, not a duty weapon.

CC gun = last resort.

Duty weapon = tool used on a daily basis.

And TTT, here's one of the best prices I've seen. I don't know about the seller, but it may be worth calling them. $320 is around the same price as an LCP, and this thing blows an LCP out the water:

I would be all over that for that price. Especially these days.

Tell me what y'all think of this trade.

I'm looking to trade my LC9, 250 rd of 223, one Pmag, one brick of 22LR for kahr P380. The kahr is like new with 50 rd through it.

I would do it. I think you would be getting a better gun in the long run. I'm kinda shying away from a 380. Now looking at a pocket 9mm

Those bodyguards are so cute. Seriously. I'd love to have one but have read a lot of bad reviews on them.

That was the reason I bought the lc9 but it's just too heavy for pocket carry. I haven't found a 9 that I could comfortably pocket carry.

And that's the dilemma I am in. Thanks for the input, just have to make a decision. I really want something I can slip in my pocket. I like that CW380 but Barking Irons told me it would probably be August before they see one. FWIW

Do y'all know why the P380 black retails $50 more than the one with stainless slide?

$690 vs $649
