Any OCs or heat issues? Only happens "in game" right?

Yeah so far it has only happened in game. I was able to play Mount & Blade: Warband, which isn't too demanding. Though if I play Civ V or Cities: Skylines, it goes starts acting up.
I'm also not overclocking any of my components. I don't believe that heat is the problem as I have a monitor the tells me the CPU and GPU temperatures. Both stay under 80 C (systems is just cooled with fans). I also ran the furmark benchmark for about 10 minutes and didn't have any issues with that.
