unplug it and try another usb port(preferably one on the I/O panel{the back of the case}). If the doesn't work then unplug it and do this:
Start button>search for device manager>click device manager>sound, video, and game controllers>pick the one that is labeled for your headset>right click>uninstall driver. Now plug device in and let it download the driver again.

Does thermal paste still in the container go bad or should mine still be good?
