I don't like mechanical. Can't stand the fricking noise and I bought mine for $59 when Best Buy was clearing out the G510 for the G510s that just came out.
I like the macro options and you can download tons of pre-programed game profiles for it as well as tons of apps for the screen. I use a Skype app, afterburner app, CPU monitoring app, BF3 app, and a ton of others.

Browns and blacks are silent. Really only blue switches make noise.
Lost of mechanical keyboards have a bunch of macros. The razer black widows have a good bit of macros with great programming software.
I'm hoping my monoprice mechanical keyboard will be here soom
