That's a shame. I was ready to make you a sweet deal.
I got it as a store return from someone that never tested it. I put it on my test bench today and it is all OK. No socket change out or anything.

If I didn't have to buy a processor I would be very interested. I would only have the budget for an i3 or non OC-able i5
