No problem.

Paging coyote... You said you have that low profile crucial memory that came free with my motherboard. Is it worth buying another 8gb to replace my corsair vengeance? Ive just left it at 1600 and never needed to overclock it.

Ram is something I want to look into. I have this.
I am trying to find benchmarks with games and ram. I know the difference is small but I would still like to see.

Yeah I use it in my test bench.

It is a great stick of RAM for 1 reason.. "Low Voltage". You get 1.6GHz @ 1.35V and easly 2.1GHz @ 1.45V. Meaning it stays pretty cool. I haven't tried pass that because it is on an AM3+ MOBO and the limit is 2.1GHz. With 1150 socket, no telling if 2.6GHz is achievable. I don't it will OC as good as my Samsung Wonder inside the HTPC, but you never know. I really like the low voltage stuff, seems like there is more headroom for us OCers.

As for "worth it", you know as well as any of us that the value in RAM only really reflects on SUPERPi runs.

I say get a 2nd so you could run dual channels and have potential 2.4GHz RAM for essentially $62 bucks.

EDT: Purchase a new MOBO for the test bench, never installed it yet.. will do tonight and bench. (Hopefully)

They had 4x2 1600MGHz on sale the other day for $40. I forgot to go back and grab it for my HTPC build.

Gigabyte FINALLY got me that 7870 back. I am going to test it all out tomorrow and make sure it's good but I am going to sell it or that Sapphire 7870 I have soon. Hell, I may sell both and grab one of these $250 7950s everyone is snatching up.
