What genre have you concluded that while you have liked it in the past you have no interest in anymore? What is currently giving you the most satisfaction in playing?

Done: Fighting games
Uptick: RPG (sports in second place (Love The Show))

Done: sports game, after a while they just all began to feel the same and ea can be thanked for that.
uptick: fps, learning to love fps even if I am just playing the campaign and not multiplayer.

I loved sports games back in the day. It's sad how old they are now.

I'm pretty much done with FPS online games, i.e. CoD, BF, etc. I just don't have the time to get into those games anymore. Also pretty much done with sports games.

I'm still into RPGs for the most part. I also like the DMCs and Bayonettas.

i originally put i was done with online fps.. but... battlefield 4, even though it has the mark of the devil attached on its cover (EA) will probably entice me too much to not at least give it a look

I get what you are saying, it's just so much easier to get lost in an RPG when free time is limited.

I haven't played Sports Games in years so I guess you could say that.

On the uptick for me are hyper realistic MMO/FPS hybrid.

I am also finished with the arcade shooters like CoD.

Done: Sports. I bought the Show but that will probably be the last sports game I buy, until someone besides EA gets the license to NCAAF and NFL.

Uptick: RPGs. Never cared for them until I started playing Crono Trigger. Now I'm obsessed.

this is probably a dumb question, but how is this not considered a monopoly? one company able to control an entire sub-genre in the gaming industry? BS. I love what 2k does with the NBA, they should be able to give NCAA and NFL games a chance. it would actually make EA try and better their game for once..../hijack

I haven't bought a sports game in a while cause of EA so I guess I'm done with sports games, as well.
Uptick: FPS's that don't suck(BF), sandbox games(GTA, Red Dead) and whatever genre The Last of US/Uncharted are.

EA has actually lost the rights to NCAA exclusivity.

Done: fighting games. Haven't plate in YEARS

Uptick: rpg definitely. Lately it's been all solo for me. Just really enjoying storylines and open world

I hope they come out with another red dead title. I'd be all over that

I'm pretty much done with multiplayer FPS.

I'm getting into Strategy RPGs and action games a lot more. Still play me a ton of JRPGs.

done with fps, getting into civ type games and a lot of sim city 4 lately since I learned how to attach mods which have opened it up more as a design game than trying to balance budgets. Money trees

I even found a map for Birmingham Al which has been sooooo much fun recreating my home town.
