Good one. You're a funny guy...
There's more to it than using some tool to keep your scores. My understanding is it has to be officially recognized by the USGA or some other golf association in order for it to be valid at these courses I'll be playing at. I just didn't know if I have to do this through a specific club or if I can just sign up with the USGA. I'm sure there are people on here who are willing to help.
