Alright great minds, I need some help. Windows 8 is killing me. I usually go to the internet to browse, check mail, etc, but the linked mail tab on my windows 8 isn't working. I tried to sync Facebook, Yahoo Mail, messenger, etc on it but its not working. Now, my touch pad for my mouse on my computer is making my start screen and app menu pop up. Anyone help with Windows 8? Pain in the butt it is. (YODA)

I downloaded the classic shell to bring back the start menu on the desktop as well as start up with desktop.

Windows 8 is good with a great internet connection, but here, it sucks. My messenger doesnt sync, my yahoo mail doesnt work, skype doesnt work. I have to use Facebook +Skype to talk to the wife and kids. Anyway to clean this up? I cant download here due to the lack of internet juice

You're going to have problems with all of those programs if you have a crap connection.

Maybe you could set them to not auto-sync. That MIGHT free up some bandwidth but IDK.

what email service? I believe W8 discontinued support for certain protocols in the tile "metro" interface.

what you REALLY should have done was come to this forum before you bought a W8 machine so we could have directed you to a W7 machine instead
