I miss Gus Johnson

As good as some of these games have been, it hasn't been the same without Gus.
I don't understand the soccer thing. You take the most charismatic, enthusiastic, game caller and you make him call the most boring game that the least number of Americans follow? Doesn't make sense.

I'm actually liking soccer a lot more as I get older but I don't want gus calling it. I want some guy with a British accent. Let gus do his thing.

It's a subjective thing moron. There are just as many, if not more arguments to be made that baseball, hockey, nascar, golf, tennis, lacrosse, track, swimming, bowling, hell even football are terrible sports. Not every sport is for everyone.
The Gus doing soccer thing is bc Fox is paying big money for the rights to the Champions league and for the world cup in 2018. Putting Gus on those games might draw some casual sports fans to those games who might then become consistent viewers once they realize the product is pretty good.
ETA: I like most of those sports. I'm just saying that objectively it's just as easy to find reasons those sports are boring as there are for soccer
