Provided you continuue to work for the railroad until your retire, you will get railraod retirement benefits instead of Social Security, which you do not participate in. Union Pacific doesn't match your 401k up to a percentage? I work for Norfolk Southern I have been with them for 6 years they match up to 6 percent with my 401k through Vanguard
