Guys I'm the buyer in this circumstance and it's slightly unnerving to be overnighting a certified check for $1200 tomorrow morning. Once that check leaves my hand I lo all power. And I've read the fraud protection guidelines but it's only for $500. The seller has good feedback but still......

I wish I could settle your nerves but unfortunately, I cant! Look at the sellers feedback and what items he has sold in the past....

If he has sold items for that much money in the past and has received good feedback then I would roll the dice if it is a good deal.

BUT...if the seller hasnt sold anything before or this is his 1st time selling something in that price range...I would be extremely hesitant.

I just did a GB certified check transaction for $835 and I was only nervous about the FFL. He seems to be the sketchy part of the transaction, but it went 100% smoothly. A few days if worry though. Trust it man, that's all I got for you.

If he has a+++ feedback, don't sweat it. No different than paying with a debit card really.
