I think he's more uninterested in giving media appearances IMO. I mean how could you not love having Cam show you the ropes to be a successful QB in college and possibly the pros?

Blame the players not the coach right?

Is it just me or does Mett seem to not be very happy with the changes. With this interview and others, it just seems like he is upset about "starting over" and isn't 100% buying into Cam's coaching. First he was iritated about a 5th year senior (wiliford) having to learn new line blocking calls, now he says "I just have to throw away all the stuff I've learned over the past two year and start over". Doesn't seem excited at all to me.

I hope I am completely wrong, and I probably am, but that is just the impression I got.

Cam making him watch film and practice throwing a fade route is cutting down on his wacky hairdo fixing and zany vintage thrift store clothes shopping time.

I know some will say that this is all just paper thin speech from the players about "completely overhauling the previous offense". B

From what I've been reading/hearing the RBs will also be involved in our passing game.

Last year, if we were going to throw the ball, it was going to one of our receivers. That was just too easy to defend.

Should be interesting!!!!

I thought the same while listening to his interviews.

Perhaps it's just his personality making him appear a little frustrated.

You assured us that miles was not going to make any changes this offseason. Looks like not only were there changes, its a new offense.

i know, right? I bet $1000 on the moneyline in Vegas that "Miles won't make any changes" because Tropical Storm over there told me it wouldn't happen. That son of a bitch owes me money

Hurricane, unknown knight and doc get so wrapped up in their lsu hate that they have to shoot down every positive message or supportive post about the football program.

what exactly did mett do last year to justify LSU needing to make him happy.

I just hope CAM is the kind of OC that will chew some arse when mistakes are made. Make these guys accountable and they will play harder and pay more attention to detail. It should be the norm considering the talent of players and coaches.

Well after his stint in the NFL coaching pros, I don't think some college player is going to intimidate him

If you watch the link you will see where he tell's one player if he didn't run the catching drill the way he was supposed to, then to get out of it.

I doubt seriously that LM and LSU would be paying CC what they are if they weren't serious about fundamental change in our offensive philosophy. I have no info, but my gut tells me that Alleva fully explained to LM how the boosters felt and that self preservation was, ultimately, becoming an issue. what we see on offense may not be that different schematically as in the past but I fully expect the execution and wrinkles to be sharper and more cunning. I am excited about what CC brings to the table and how I expect that to translate to the field.

get better.
