"Most accurate" map of college basketball fandom

So the only state that has the SEC at the top of its "fandom" list is Mississippi? And most of Louisiana is comprised of ACC fans, as opposed to SEC/LSU fans?

I know a lot of Duke and UNC fans, but I have trouble finding friends to go to games. Most sports fans here that I know are indifferent until tournament time anyway.

I like how Lincoln Parish, home of LA Tech is the only SEC fan parish in the state

missssippi is orange because ole miss is in the tourney. the rest of SEC country except for around columbia and gainesville aren't pulling for SEC schools.

im pretty sure he's never been to north carolina in his life

Not to be a broken record but everyone understands that LSU (SEC) was not an option for fandom on this map, right? See the state of Kentucky.
