This could be an absolutely great movie. I've always wanted to see what a movie would be like starring DC Comic's The Atom. This is as close as you get. When you start to actually think about the physics involved in the powerset, the possibilities are endlesss.

Have they confirmed anyone to star in this? I heard Bradley Cooper for a while, but I don't think they have anyone on board yet with Edgar Wright.

Hopefully the script is good enough to hold up a hero of his caliber. His abilities have potential in a movie(especially if they don't just focus on shrinking), he's just not a very well known character.
I'm excited, though hopefully it's not one of those situations where he has to fight an even smaller villain.
