I'm a bigger fan of signing proven free agents over drafting unknowns, however in this case I tend to agree with this article at least in regards to signing NA. If he signs, it will definitely be an upgrade, but Lewis and Greer should be a solid tandem. That money could be used to fill other major holes on the defense and offense.

Greer has been getting absolutely torched lately. I'm not saying he doesn't still make some great plays here and there, but he is definitely getting burned a lot more on the reg now than I'd like to see. He's starting to get a little long in the tooth. Nnamdi, while not a youngster himself, adds quality depth to the cb position.

Rob Ryan's defense needs big, physical, press cornerbacks. I love what Greer has done for us, but he is not that. NA on the other hand is one of the best in the game.

And anybody that says you should ignore ANY chance to improve your team, FA/draft or otherwise, is an idiot that should not be writing about the national football league.
