I'd be fine either way. I agree about focusing more on the draft though. We seem to target free agency and trade away draft picks like it's nothing. They seem to strike gold in later rounds and UDFA though so I can't complain too much I guess. I would just like to see a superstar come from the first round instead of serviceable starters.

Well the thought process is that theres no way we get enough guys ready to win now in the draft. Maybe we get 1 or 2 if we're lucky, but 0 is as likely as any scenario. I'm fine as long as we make smart contracts and don't give out bad ones like the Smith, Vilma, and Harper deals.
