During the post-game talk yesterday Monty was asked if he was upset about GV taking 25 shots in the game, and he answered that if Gordon and Anderson are not scoring then GV has to take more shots. With Gordon out today, I wonder if GV will have green light, or will Monty keep him on a short leash?

Probably too many, but frankly, with Gordon out, we need to be feeding Rivers the ball to facilitate some growth.

Growth in Mason? he is 33, he is what he is.

for sure...He and Davis both.

Anderson always has it.

Let Vasquez pad his stats...to boost trade value if nothing else.

GV was just interviewed and promised not to take that many shots today. Lets see if he keeps it up

I know. Gordon and Rivers are out, so your next offensive option is Mason. I was being facetious about the statement I quoted. Gravy is gonna get his shots unless Mason is hot.

Well our only active shooting guard should probably actually get some shots

scoring a lot of points has a lot less value when you aren't efficient. 10/25 is a very bad shooting percentage. I want to see vasquez come out tonight and shoot less but take smarter shots. A great night would be 25 points off 15 shots. Thats want i want from a scorer when they put up big numbers. Hope he plays good tonight.

14 pts on 6 of 11 isn't bad. He took 8 less shots than Anderson, one less than Davis, and one more than Lopez.

I was actually surprised he was able to get 9 assists with the total lack of talent on the floor around him last night.

Vasquez is not that guy, as he said...We don't want him to be that guy in the future.

I agree. Davis and anderson need to be taking the majority of the shots. the fact that vasquez took 25 in that game and gordon took 6 shocked me. 10=12 shots is a good number for vasquez.
