just discovered this while dwelling in the SECr but LSU is the ONLY SEC school to have national championships in all 3 major sports.

It's probably more legit than about six of the football NC the gumps claim.

1935 basketball team ftw

The only 3 core sports that the SEC has had team title for in every year of its existence are football, baseball, & men's basketball, and LSU is the only school with 10+ conference titles in each of them. ( LINK) So there's that.

Pretty sure we are the only SEC school to have double digit conference championships in the baseball, basketball, & football.

the tournament started the next year in 1936, but LSU would have been the favorite against anyone they played in a hypothetical 1935 tournament.
