If Brian Posehn has qualifications to judge a taxidermy competition, and I like Posehn, then you've already capped yourself for failure. Then you prop the other 2 as "famous experts", like you'd know who they are.
I like the bizarre, but this is just flat uninteresting. It's not like Iron Chef, where you can at least take some knowledge from it and use it practically.
I watched the one where the competitor was from a "famous" Hollywood taxidermy shop and his stuff was so awful with the mouse heaven and hell. And everyone knew it too, as he apparently was the most lopsided loser in the short history of the show. It was like 40 to 85, with the max score being a 90. That's just embarrassing to not even to have some caliber of competition...

We saw the same one then. It was quite pitiful. The Asian guy's piece was confusing. It wasn't actual taxidermy more than say...make something weird.
I don't know how they chose the judges. The woman's qualifications still confused me. The Smithsonian guy seemed to be the only one legit.
Hollywood guys design seemed atrocious. He is supposed to do work for all these studios and he pulled out some frozen mice. It was just confusing.

I had it on AMC last week, and this shite came on and I noticed it, and the first thing I thought was "Really?? Brian Posehn?"
