Thinking about riding my bike from BR to NOLA or vice versa.

Anyone have any tips, suggestions, or things to look out for? This will be my first major ride so any help will be greatly appreciated.

There's a route along the levee that I'd take. Would be much of a hassle as far as bridges and cars.

I had a buddy do it a while back. He just rode Airline all of the way up. I think there are some property owners that don't want people trespassing also, namely the jail south of St. Gabriel. There are big signs that say don't drive past here
