Found out last night that I have to cook today for about 15 people, so I figured on such short notice a simple crock pot recipe would do. Does anyone on the FDB have any suggestions, I am up for anything as long as it is rather simple

Get a big pork shoulder and throw it in there for 8 hours on low. Shred it up, and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix in your favorite BBQ sauce and let it go on low for another hour.
Instead of serving sandwiches, set up a nacho bar or use tortillas for pulled pork tacos.

Tough to do a shoulder or any other roast you'd do slow in a crock pot quickly if that's what you need. I'd do something that will roast fast, like a pork loin. Slice for sandwiches.

The thing about a slow cooker is...well, it cooks slow. Hence the name. Doesn't seem like a smart idea to use a slow cooker to cook for a quick last minute party.
