Went there last night, never been before

Felt like we have been missing out -GREAT FOOD

apps
Tuna tartar and avocado
Boudin and sausage plate
Both are outstanding. Tuna came with some homemade chips for dipping. Sausage plate was smoked pork and a chicken and pineapple sausage. Boudin was smoked. Came with a creole mustard and an aooli for dipping with toast points

Entrees
I got alligator stuffed with boudin and cheese
Wife got garlic grilled shrimp
Son got fish tacos
Everything was excellent

Dining area was small and crowded. Server (Jacob) was excellent

Food was outstanding and the bill was only $70. Highly recommend this place if you are on Verot School road and looking for a different place to try. We found out about it through their ad in 008 mag. Owner (pat) came by our table and thanked us for coming.

Nice review.

I've been to this place several times for lunch and have always been satisfied. I've had the tilapia, the meatloaf, the burger, a few other salads....it's all good. Very good and friendly waitstaff. This place deserves your business.

I have been there one time and had a great experience. I had a stuffed pork chop, my girlfriend had the shrimp pasta. Both meals were very tasty and the place was very well priced. Great service too.

I agree with all of this. I went and sat at the bar a month ago or so. Had the boudin balls and shrimp and tasso pasta with a few beers. Turned out great for sub $30.

Hard to beat that.

Now that I think about it, I had the boudin and sausage plate too, not boudin balls. Regardless, it was all awesome.
