1. Watching my son who was then 6 shoot a teal in the air with a 28 gauge.

2. Winning a field trial.

3. Tarpon on the beach in Navarre.

4. walking a deer out of the woods.

5. Son and I getting world record fish on the same day.

and i dont know about mine. everyone has their own trophies and sense of accomplishment. i have killed decent deer, caught lots of fish on one trip. have trapped some good animals. just blessed to be able to do it.

oh... but here is my #1 i have killed a grass bird at 5yards with a plum! yep the fruit! hurled that bitch at it and boom!! dead bird

My first kill was a blue jay with a Crossman pellet gun. He was flying.


Knocked a coon out of the top of an oak tree with a bud light bottle.


Caught a 35lb bull red on a Bandit crankbait.


Son knocking out a 6-point at 4 years old.


Son knocking out a nanny out the mancave.

fly rod tippet class and youth sac au lait.

actually both are state records too, just never submitted them.

actually that day was kinda dulled by an a-hole when we were loading the kayak after fishing...

2) killing my first dear (I was with my pops as a youngin)
3) taking my brothers truck thru one of the most notorious mud pits the first try
4) shooting my first rifle outside

1. My first B&C deer.

2. Teaching my girlfriend at the time (fiancée now) how to use an open face reel so I did not have to keep zebcos in my boat for when she comes with.

3. Free handing a mule deer from a ways off...off horseback

4. In highschool, 3 buddies and I killed 14 greenheads and 2 hens one morning in Russell Sage and made it to first period.

5. Double-banded greenhead with $100 money band

fishing in the creek with my little brother almost every day the summer i turned 19

first buck

first doe

calling in a pretty good buck

catching every bass in my pow pow's pond by the time i was 10, except for the largest one

1981..

last week of season 3 of us killed 30 pintails... and made it to school on time....

shite, this is tough.

Off the top of my head would be killing a three man limit with 19 shots.

Not really a single accomplishment, but being able to kill mallards ducks day in and day out when no one else is.

1. Two Wild Turkey World Slams, a handful of Grand Slams. Highest scoring gobbler submitted to the FWC in FL for 2012

2. Harvested an 11+ ft gator in 2011. Weighed over 2,000 lbs using the standard "Swamp People" measuring system. Actual weight noticeably less on standard scales.

3. 140 class whitetail in Canada

4. Archery bull elk in NM

5. Having my then 4 year old daughter in the blind with me giggling hysterically at a group of jakes during the Spring turkey season.
