Riff RAFF was the motivation behind the main character even if James Franco tries to lie and says he wasn't. dude looks, acts, and talks exactly like him and the director of the film (Harmony) even did a photo shoot with him -

That's pretty much what I was thinking. I wouldn't want to be friends with them, but I didn't see anything that shows that they are out robbing and killing people.
The part where they were talking about their "love at first site" moment in the strip club sounded like something straight out of Trailor Park Boys. I couldn't help but  .

that's what James Franco is saying lately because apparently he is embarrassed to admit the truth so he found a local Florida rapper to try and make it look more "legit". Harmony had already setup the photo shoot with Riff RAFF months ago.
