Its pretty expensive...between the rental and the fuel.

I looked at some that where
$300-350 a day with unlimted miles. Others where cheaper but charged you mileage after like 100 mile.

There where more expensive ones these where the cheaper RV's not like a true motor coach..

You can rent a Travel Trailer as well for cheaper if you have something that can pull it.

Found a place in Breaux Bridge. Think its 180 a day plus insurance, fuel, mileage. Going about 830 miles one way

We took one to Omaha for the CWS. Cost a small freaking fortune.

RV shop is where we got ours.

ETA: Look for the one with cum stains on the ceiling, don't get that one.

When I looked at doing it I was around 600 + mile trip one way. I was going to rent an RV and take the family to Big Bend National Park. Since there are lot more camp / RV site than hotels in this area. Just couldn't get the numbers to work with it costing an arm and a leg.

You will spend over that in diesel..expect to get 5-6 miles per gallon. 1600+ miles at 4.00 a gallon.

Try Miller's RV in Baton Rouge on 190.

Do you need a diesel versus gas? Unless you're needing a 40 footer, no reason to get a diesel other than more power. Gas driven will be less expensive to rent.

Yea im not looking for anything big. More like a glorified van. Something the kids can move around it, watch tv, play video games, piss on toilet seats, stuff like that

Plus propane, mileage fees, shite dump fees, etc.

I don't see being able to keep this under a grand.
