I'm going to say he will probably be a camp body and fight for a roster spot.

My guess is that if his workout had went well enough, he would have been signed at some point. Maybe they bring him in as a camp body and give him a shot. I don't know. But it does seem like a long shot that he'd be effective again.

ummmm his right leg is 6 inches shorter than his left leg thus causing him to run in circles ----- so his future with the saints is not bright just saying

he could have lost his right leg, and he'd still be an improvement over that abortion of a defense the saints had last season

Could be effective in zone doing that.

At the rate the saints are going in free agency, I think he might have a great shot at coming into camp to compete

If the kid wants to try and play football after that gruesome injury, let him try. Who are we to tell him what to do? If he can get just 90% out of that leg he could make a roster. It's amazing he has come this far, and people are bashing on him. He's got his goal, let him try and get it. It's only been a few years since the injury so he's still most likely getting stronger.

more power to him and I wish him success. I just think ya can still throw a major league heater with a bum leg. Playing safety in the NFL is slightly more challenging. It has been three full seasons since he played a game of football. The clock is ticking on him career wise.

I agree that he could most likely still throw a heater but I'm not talking about him playing S or starting. Making a roster and playing ST seems possible. In 1 of his interviews he said all he wants is to make a roster and run out on Sundays. I think he knows he won't be a starter or a full time defender. He could be a good ST player. And who wants to have a career in the minors anyways? That would suck haha. Maybe he could be a closer if he can get the heater in the upper 90s. 3 full seasons, yes, but its not like he was healthy and could of. Recovering and rehab.
