I have never seen SI make one good prediction. BCS, March Madness, Superbowl....they are wrong constantly.

They are looking at the schedule. . . . couldn't win the NC next year with our schedule.

That's what was said about our 2011 schedule. Then the boyz went undefeated in regular season.

Win through tough schedules and your ranking jumps.

When you have a buffoon for a head coach, the national media tends not to respect you.

You trolls are so easy to spot.

Really, you should try to be a pretend fan a tad better.

dr the whole thing, but what a bunch of knee jerk jerks, aTm for Christ sakes? One good year in about the last 70, and they are contenders?
I think they were an anomaly, and will settle into their rightful, familiar, suck-arse to mediocre existence this year.

I agree; aTm will take its' place along-side Miss St.; the only hope for the Aggies is that they now have SEC creds when recruiting in Texas, and that may translate into outdoing Texas for in-state recruits.

If someone put a gun to your head and said "guess the NC winner right or I pull the trigger" , what are you going to say. Try looking at this without the purple and gold glasses. It's reasonable. However, this is LSU, and this program can turn nothing into Crystal pretty quickly despite the losses from the draft.

Good. Our team is young and they need to fly under the radar for a bit. They need to stay hungry and focus on improving week to week. That's how we will beat the tough teams on our schedule.

It would be a great season to finish 3rd in the West with our schedule for next year.

frick em. They are the same people who said we didn't have a shot back in 2007 but then we made the BCS title game. Then they said Ohio St would win. Well, you know the rest.

I live near Penn State and always have been an LSU fan. However, there is a correlation between the 2 teams. Neither has garnered a lot of respect from the media/polls.. ever. Both teams play a rather bland type offense. Both rely on their defense. Both in the past have fielded strong and competitive teams. Miles gets the same respect Paterno got about the offense - fair at best. Both teams have been slighted by pollsters because they are not flashy or they do not win games by huge amounts.

Coaches should coach, ready their teams and play the season. Polls are nothing to me and to some coaches. Prepare the young men and lead them... a successful year is how the team plays, is competitive and gives 100 %.

Yeah, but PSU has always had the Sandusky factor.

No, not alway Though he is scum, he was the best defense minded coordinator in the USA. True, PSU staff knew (or had to) of his actions. But he was not a factor in season poll rankings. Give me a break. Pollsters don't care about perverts. They care about their own guesses. Why do fans get upset about media votes. They are, also, just paid fans.
