What's missed in that awesome highlight reel is after UGA tied the score 10-10 on the 93 yard screen pass, Tiger Stadium erupted with "L-S-U! L-S-U!"
Brook trout, deers in a headlight analogies BE GONE! UGA just tied the game on a WTF play during a 2:30pm game @ LSU. The fans said frick that, LSU! LSU! LSU!
The rest is history.
That game was the one when the culture began to change. It started in 2000 w/ UT game, but it was the - to me - defining moment when LSU had hit the national stage.
Of course we lost to UF a few weeks later and went on the NC. That game was the catalyst. Team, Program, Fans.
