Yeah, this just re-validates if for me. I heard part of a conversation b/w Alabama guy and a recruit a few years ago when it was televised (don't remember where), anyway, it was the same weird, awkward, selling.... but like selling to a 3 year old... not sophisticated, just very transparent.
There was the FL recruiter lying to Gilmore and other stuff I could say too - horrible.
I am sure that all/ most recruiters are not great in making an argument veery intelligently, but I do hope that Les and Frank are better than this (I think they are FWIW)

NFL this, NFL that...were the best, blah blah (did you see the 60 minutes show 2 years ago?)
Last time I checked, LSU has 10 more players in the NFL right now than does almighty alabama

Yeah you're probably referring to the Italian stallion Sal Sunseri telling Jermario Rasco how he made Julius Peppers into a star 
Bama recruiting is sleezy as frick, but the results speak for themselves I guess.

Yep. We have a full 33% more active NFL players than them. 44 to 33 (before the 2013 draft). LSU has the third most active NFL players of any school in the country (behind Miami and USC), and I don't see us slowing down anytime soon.

I love it. Whether intentional or not...CR made the Bama coach look like an idiot. I would hope that our coaches don't stoop to that level of complete BS. Saban a good guy...what a complete load of crap. Saban knows that everything begins and ends with recruiting better players than every other team. Would he have the same record as the TCU or Boise St coaches with lesser talent? Everyone knows that he is stacked with more talent than everyone else. How can he and his staff make all of these promises (to individual players) year after year when they have the #1 recruiting classes 5 years running? It's very simple...they say whatever they have to to get the LOI...then it's a whole different game. You know it must kill Satan to have to bend over for these 17 yr/old kids and I'm sure that he has a long memory once he gets an LOI in hand. I just wish that these parents and kids would look at the facts of his history before falling for his BS.

It may be time for some of the posters to get real and cut Coach Cristobal some slack.
It's pretty well known in D-1 coaching ranks that Coach Saban sets down, in memo form, the points that must be communicated to a recruit in every communication.
Tweets, emails and poine calls are all subject to audit to determine compliance with the program, and repetition, as always assures uniform execution.
One point required in all UA to Recruit Communications is that Coach Saban is the best person in the nation. No exceptions.
Coach C was just doing his job.

I would really hope so, but he's a kid so who really knows if he's buying it. Hopefully, he can see through it. I'm sure he gets similar pitches everyday- curious why he singled this one out. Hard to tell the context, what were some of the tweets back from other people on his timeline?

I dont have a problem with what cristobal did here. adn I dont for one second think we arent pitching the same thing.
As a matter of fact Didnt Chavis come out and say we are recruiting 3 years kids. We dont redshirt.
with that being said. FOr Cam to post this is a insult to bama not a positive at all.
